Chicken Stew with Peppers and Peaches
Here is yet another of our favourite, easy to prepare and inexpensive chicken recipes. The meat is extremely tender and you can change up the sauce however you prefer every time you make this dish.
Ingredients
- 4 Boneless Chicken Breast Slices
- 1/2 Water
- 2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
- 1 Small Can Peaches
- 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 1 Red Pepper
Directions
- Mix all ingredients, except for Peaches, Cornstarchand Bell Pepper in a 3-6 quart Crock Pot. Cook 7-8hours on low or 3-4 hours on high.
- Gradually stir in a mixture of Peach Juice andCornstarch into Crock Pot. Stir in Peaches andPepper. Cook 15 more minutes.
* Variation: Use Pineapple instead ofPeaches. Use Chicken Broth instead ofWater.
